About the Experience

NeuroBridge is a calm, accessible 3D job interview practice web simulator designed to help candidates—especially neurodivergent individuals and early-career professionals—prepare for real-world interviews in a supportive, zero-pressure environment.

Interact with a 3D interviewer avatar, speak your answers naturally using your microphone, and receive instant, constructive feedback tailored to each question—all running directly in your browser with zero data retention.

Key Features

  • Real-Time Browser Speech Recognition: Speak naturally into your microphone. Your answers are transcribed live on-screen using native browser technology with near-zero latency.
  • 100% Privacy-First (Zero Data Storage): No audio or transcripts are ever recorded, uploaded, or stored on external servers. All processing happens entirely in your local browser memory.
  • Data-Driven Constructive Feedback: Intelligent evaluation rules analyze your response structure (such as the STAR method for problem-solving questions) and provide step-by-step suggestions to strengthen your delivery.
  • Crisp High-Fidelity 3D Graphics: Built with Unity's Universal Render Pipeline (URP), featuring real-time soft shadows, Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO), and dynamic Full HD fullscreen resolution scaling.
  • Stress-Free, User-Paced Flow: No timers, no sudden cut-offs, and no penalties. Take your time to think, review your transcript before feedback, and repeat or retry questions as many times as you like.
  • Organic Presence & Animation: Procedural first-person breathing micro-sway and audio-synchronized avatar gestures create an authentic, interactive atmosphere.

Technical Architecture & Highlights

  • Native WebGL-to-Browser Bridge: Custom JSLib bidirectional communication layer interfacing with the browser's Web Speech API.
  • Clean & Decoupled State Machine: The interview logic and feedback evaluators are decoupled from input and rendering layers, designed from the ground up to scale into full 6DOF Virtual Reality (OpenXR).
  • Dynamic DevicePixelRatio Scaling: Renders in an elegant centered 16:9 windowed frame and automatically recalculates the graphics backbuffer to true native monitor resolution (1080p, 2K, 4K) in Fullscreen mode.
  • Accessible Vector Typography: High-legibility Coolvetica SDF font powered by TextMeshPro with WCAG-compliant high-contrast palettes.

Requirements & How to Play

Recommended Browsers: Desktop Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (required for full native Web Speech API support).

Microphone: Any standard laptop mic or headset. When prompted by the browser, click "Allow" to enable speech recognition.

Controls

  • Mouse / Click: Navigate and interact with UI buttons.
  • F / F11 / Alt + Enter: Toggle Fullscreen (Native Full HD / Monitor Resolution).
  • Keyboard (Tab / Enter / Space): Accessible UI navigation.

Roadmap & VR Vision

This WebGL release represents Phase 1 of the NeuroBridge initiative. Upcoming milestones include:

  • Full 6DOF Virtual Reality port for standalone VR headsets (Meta Quest / PCVR via OpenXR).
  • Non-verbal communication training (eye contact pacing and posture awareness).
  • Biometric calm/stress response feedback.
